Epcot is known for its unique blend of entertainment and education, but it also offers some of the most romantic dining options in Disney World. Whether you're looking for a special night out or a romantic dinner on your honeymoon, there's no shortage of options.
To me, dining in Disney is just as much fun as the parks themselves. Most often, I actually plan my trips around the restaurants we'll be visiting!
From Canada to Mexico (the correct way to go around the World Showcase, by the way), here are my top picks:
If you're looking for a high-quality steakhouse where you can slow down and enjoy the moment, Le Cellier is an incredible option. With a cozy, intimate atmosphere with low lighting, stone walls, and elegant décor, the warm and inviting setting of this restaurant is perfect for a romantic meal.
Le Cellier is renowned for its delicious steak, seafood, and Canadian dishes, and many are also large enough to share. Themed after a wine cellar, the restaurant also offers an extensive selection of wines, including Canadian varieties.
After dinner, don't forget to take a stroll through the Victoria Gardens and the Rockies in the back of the pavilion (up the steps just before the Canada Far and Wide theater). The back area is usually fairly empty—so it's the perfect place to sit on one of the many benches to enjoy the waterfalls and some great company. My husband and I love to head here when we need some peace and quiet during a park day!
SPICE ROAD TABLE - MORROCO
Sitting on the open-air terrace at sunset at Spice Road Table is the perfect option if you're looking for a some lighter options and a relaxing waterside ambiance. The warm lighting, comfortable seating, and Mediterranean-inspired decor create a cozy and intimate atmosphere, perfect for a romantic dinner.
The restaurant offers a diverse menu inspired by the flavors of the Mediterranean, featuring dishes from countries like Morocco, Spain, Greece, and more. The menu includes a variety of small plates, kebabs, seafood, and vegetarian options. Definitely try the Pomegranate Chili Crispy Cauliflower—it's amazing!
Even though this spot is just steps from the hustle and bustle of the World Showcase, it's a quieter, more refined setting compared many other park restaurants. If possible, request a table outside so you can take in the gorgeous panoramic views of World Showcase Lagoon.
Takumi-Tei offers an authentic and upscale dining experience featuring traditional Japanese cuisine. Starting at $150 per person, the omakase menus include dishes prepared with high-quality ingredients and precise culinary techniques.
The inside of the restaurant is designed to evoke the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese tea room, providing guests with a tranquil and immersive dining environment.
Takumi-Tei boasts an extensive selection of sake, including rare and premium varieties. The restaurant offers sake pairing options, where expertly chosen sake complements the flavors of the dishes, enhancing the dining experience for guests interested in Japanese rice wine.
TUTTO ITALIA RISTORANTE - ITALY
There's something special about the ambiance of the Italy pavilion, and Tutto Italia offers outdoor seating that allow you to experience it for yourself. The outdoor terrace provides a delightful setting, especially in the evening when the weather is pleasant.
Tutto Italia offers a menu featuring classic Italian dishes such as pasta, risotto, and seafood, providing a delightful culinary experience for couples, and you can pair your meal with an extensive selection of Italian wines.
The Mexico pavilion is probably my favorite of the entire World Showcase, specifically for its unique ambiance. When you step inside, it's not hard to see why this is a great spot for a romantic night out. The dim lighting makes it a perpetual night inside and sets such a romantic scene at a charming Mexican marketplace.
The restaurant is situated along the water's edge of the Gran Fiesta Tour ride, providing diners with picturesque views of the boat ride and the Mesoamerican pyramid. The menu features Mexican cuisine and they serve an extensive selection of tequilas and margaritas.
An honorable mention goes to Space 220 for its out-of-this-world atmosphere and fun food options. It's another great choice for a fun romantic night out, but it can be tricky to get a reservation here no matter how early you try. If dining while looking at Earth from above sounds like the perfect romantic evening, try for a reservation as far out as possible or join the walk-up list when you're in the park.
Whether you dine in the parks,
Disney Springs, or a resort hotel, Disney World has plenty of options for a romantic night out. Just remember that Disney restaurants are incredibly popular, so make sure to grab your reservations as soon as you’re 60 days out from your trip.
Most of these locations accept Disney Gift Cards, and if you've set up a Disney honeymoon registry, don't forget to include meals at these restaurants for your guests to purchase!
