Sure, a typical wedding registry is great. But have you considered creating a honeymoon registry instead? Your guests could be gifting you incredible experiences on your honeymoon instead of that new set of plates. With options to even integrate a honeymoon registry into a traditional registry, the options are endless!

Are you dreaming of a Disney honeymoon, but could use some extra cash to make it happen? Instead of creating a typical wedding registry filled with blenders, stand-mixers, and fine china you might pull out once a year (or less), consider creating a honeymoon registry.
My husband and I created a honeymoon registry for our wedding, and it was so fun to be able to offer our guests an alternative to choosing a physical gift. Our friends and family members loved the idea of giving us the funds for different experiences and adventures on our honeymoon. These registries are highly customizable and offer guests the chance to gift you travel, accommodations, experiences, dining, and more—if you can dream it, you can probably add it to your honeymoon registry.
My personal favorite honeymoon fund is Traveler’s Joy. While not a billed as a Disney-specific honeymoon fund, there’s nothing stopping you from making it one! Like most honeymoon funds, this option allows you to add any excursions, tickets, meals (really any wish your heart can make) and customize your registry with photos and personal messages about the items you've added. Then, friends and family pay for the items on your list, and you choose when to redeem their gifts as cash. When you're ready, Traveler’s Joy sends you the money directly and you can use it however you wish.

There are many different options when choosing where to create your registry. While Disney has a preferred honeymoon registry provider, there are many other options available depending on your preferences and desired flexibility. The two options below are free to set up and use. When it comes time to buy gifts, you can choose to have your guests cover the fees from the registry provider, or to have them taken out of your gifts.

The registry set-up process is simple and easy to use. The design is also very user friendly and offers many options for guests to pay. Here's a sample of a Disney World honeymoon registry on Traveler's Joy, and be sure to check out their FAQs for more information.
HONEYMOON WISHES
Disney offers the option of a honeymoon fund through Honeymoon Wishes. Like Traveler's Joy and other registries, you'll simply add experiences, tickets, dining, and more to your registry. You can even add the gift of a Disney Vacation Club membership to this Disney-specific offering. Your guests can then purchase an experience, and when you’re ready to redeem, everything will be loaded onto a Disney gift card and sent to you. This is a great option if you're sticking to a budget, or just to make sure you’ll use your gifts for your honeymoon instead of spending the cash elsewhere. Check out this sample honeymoon registry on Honeymoon Wishes to get a better idea of their offerings.
There are plenty of other options to choose from when it comes to creating a honeymoon registry. Some charge fees for premium services, while others allow you to integrate a physical gift registry to house all registries in one place. Search around, and perhaps set up a few on different sites to see which ones are the easiest to navigate for guests or make the most sense for you and your partner. No matter which one you choose, a honeymoon registry offers a unique and easy way to experience the one-of-a-kind magic of a Disney honeymoon.
